The "triangle" seals, main seal, flywheel seal, etc. where replaced. Yesterday I finally got the motor back in. I added 8 quarts of oil and started it up.

I would replace the o-ring again, be sure all the surfaces were clean, etc. Be sure it's torqued correctly. There may be a better way to seal this whole assembly to the block - maybe coat the o-ring in sealant or the lips in form-a-gasket.
· The FSM says to remove the entire unit, but that entails drainign the coolant (no thanks), so you can do this with the cooler still attached to the coolant lines. First, you remove the large, 24mm bolt in the middle of the cooler. Once out, it looks like this (similar pic as above): The smaller washer/seal sits under the flange of the bolt head.
